Trades Class Builds and Sells House each Year “1970”

Celina High School builds a house each year under the direction of Marshall Donaldson.

He is the instructor of a high school class called trades and industry. Each house that is built is sold in an auction each spring.

Because the school does not have to pay for labor on the building enough money is made to purchase the materials for next year's house.

Among the houses which trades and industry has built in the past include Ronald Bailey's home in home in Clark Subdivision, Earl Law's Kerry Ead's and Dr. James O'Dwyer's homesin the Thurman Subdivision.

They are presently building a house similar to the others built in the past. The house similar to yhe others built in the past. The house is located in Swann Subdivision, close to John Howard McLerran's.
