The Cookeville Department of Leisure Services is happy to announce the grand reopening of the Dogwood Park Water Fountain on June 25th, 2024, at 9 am.

The beloved fountain, a cherished feature of Dogwood Park, will operate daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm through late October. The public is invited to visit and enjoy the newly restored fountain, which promises to bring joy and refreshment throughout the summer season.

Rick Woods, Leisure Services Director, expresses his enthusiasm for the reopening of the fountain, stating:

“At long last, I am happy to share that the interactive fountain in Dogwood Park will be turned on and opened to the public tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. The repairs and rebuild have taken longer than I had hoped, but the work was extensive. I’m grateful to our maintenance staff who put in long days of work on the fountain and I’m happy to have it complete and ready for use again.”

Visit Dogwood Park tomorrow morning and experience the revitalized charm of Dogwood Park's Water Fountain
